General Notes: Husband - William George Beatty

He attended the public schools and completed his education with a business course in the International Correspondence Schools of Scranton. His first position was as time-keeper for the Clydesdale Stone Company, in which capacity he served for four years. In 1906 he became inspector of material for Arthur Koppel Company. In connection with his business he conducted general farming operations upon fifty acres of the home farm, having inherited a part of the homestead at his father's death. He was a Republican in politics and was placed by his neighbors in nearly every department of township service.
