General Notes: Husband - Levi Vincent

With his family, he was driven from France by the revocation of the edict of Nantes, and went to England. He came with his family to America during the reign of Charles II, probably about the year 1676, and settled at or near Bergen, in New Jersey.

On coming to America he first settled at New Rochelle, New York, later moving to Essex County, New Jersey, where he made permanent settlement, and owned a farm on which he died.
