General Notes: Husband - Maj. Robert Warden

By occupation he was a farmer, but on the outbreak of the Civil War entered the northern army as captain of Company B, Twenty-eighth Pennsylvania Volunteers, this company being recruited from a military organization at Mount Pleasant, similar to what was later the National Guards, and of which he was an officer. He took part in a number of battles and skirmishes along the Potomac river, and received rapid promotion to major, but succumbed to camp fever at Winchester, Virginia.

He served in the Legislature in 1857-58.
