In 1810 two brothers, John and Daniel Weaver, bought three hundred and fifty acres of land lying in Spring township, Centre County, Pennsylvania, near Bellefonte, and forming a part of the old Miles tract. Both were millers. Daniel worked at Roland Curtin's mill, and John at Magee's mill.
