General Notes: Husband - Henry Harrison Whitehill


He was educated in public school; enlisted September, 1861, Company E, 78th Pennsylvania Volunteers, under Captain J. N. Hosey, for service in the civil war. He was wounded in the battle of Stone River, Tennessee, taken prisoner, but recaptured the next day, but died from effect of his wounds.
