General Notes: Husband - William Young


He obtained his education in the common schools of Cumberland County, PA, and came to Mercer County, PA, in 1801, soon afterward purchasing a farm near Greenville. He was drafted in the War of 1812, and supplied his place with a substitute. Politically he was a Democrat. He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.
