General Notes: Husband - John Martin

---

He settled in Columbiana County, Ohio, and became a Representative and a State Senator.

He was a farmer and stock dealer; was elected to the legislature of Ohio in 1846. He was a member of the Legislature two terms. He also was for a number of years Colonel of the Columbiana Co. D. State Militia, and was considered an expert in military tactics. Mr. Martin died at a ripe old age at Homeworth, Ohio.
