He settled in Indiana. After the death of his brother John, he went to Scotland and took possession of the estate [the hereditary Laird of Forrester, the entailed estate of Easter Culmore, in the county of Stirling, Scotland], returned, and died in Indiana.
He was an attorney by profession.
