LUSHER-On Wednesday, May 19, at 11:20 a. m., Andrew J., in his 83rd year, at the residence of his son, E. S. Lusher, 7416 Duquesne Ave., Swissvale, Pa. Remains at W. R. Elkin Funeral Home, 809 Fourth St., N. Braddock, Pa. Funeral services at the Funeral Home of C. A. Black, South Broad St., Grove City, Saturday, May 22, at 2 p. m.

Andrew Lusher, Here 55 yrs Dies in Swissvale
Andrew J. Lusher, 83, a resident of Grove City for 55 years prior to 1932, died Wednesday at the home of a son in Swissvale, according to word received here. The body will be returned to Grove City for services Saturday at 2 p. m., at the Block Funeral home, followed by interment in Woodland Cemetery.
By an odd coincidence his brother died in Franklin just one hour prior to his death in Swissvale.
Mr. Lusher was born at Kennerdell, March 5, 1854, a son of George and Charity Jacobs Lusher. He married Caroline Gilmore October 8, 1879, who died April 28, 1916. He was a member of the local United Presbyterian church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. B. M. Perrine of this city; three sons, P. H. of Newton Falls, O.; D. G., of Oklahoma; and E. S., of Swissvale; four grandchildren; one brother, Harry, of Rockland, Pa., and sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Charlotte, Mich.

Andrew J. Lusher
Andrew J. Lusher, 85, until five years ago a resident of Grove City, died Wednesday at 11 a. m. at the home of his son, E. S. Lusher, Swisvale.
Mr. Lusher was born March 5, 1854, at Kennerdell, the son of the late George and Charity Jacobs Lusher. He moved to Grove City 60 years ago and spent the remainder of his life there, with the exception of the past five years.
He married Caroline J. Gilmore, Oct. 8, 1879. She died April 28, 1916. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church of Grove City.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. B. M. Perrine, Grove City; three sons, P. M. Lusher, Newton Falls, O.; D. G. Lusher, Oklahoma; E. S. Lusher, Swissvale; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Charlotte, Mich., and one brother, Harry Lusher, Rockland. Another brother, Perry Lusher, of Franklin, preceded him in death two hours.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Black's funeral home, Grove City. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery, Grove City.

BROTHERS DIE AT ALMOST SAME HOUR
Thirty-five minutes after the death of his brother at Bully Hill, Andrew Lusher, a former resident of Rockland, died at the age of 84 in Pittsburgh Wednesday morning.
Mr. Lusher's death occurred at 10:25 a. m., while his brother, Perry Edward Lusher, died at 9:50 a. m. at his home at Bully Hill. The latter Mr. Lusher was 70 years of age.
Andrew Lusher is survived by four children, Mrs. Laura Perrine, of Grove City, DeWitt Lusher, of Texas, Paul Lusher of Newton Falls, and Eugene Lusher, of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Rex and Harry Lusher, of Rockland; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Smith, of Michigan, and three grandchildren. His wife died several years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at a funeral home in Grove City.


General Notes: Wife - Clara Beighley


It is unknown what became of Clara. There is no divorce recorded in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, for them, and no mention is made of her in his obituaries.
