General Notes: Husband - Peter Beighley


He was one of the pioneers of Lancaster Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and lived near where the old stone church would later stand.

In the War of 1812, he served as a private in Captain Boston's Rifle Company of 138th Regiment of Pennsylvania Militia under command of Lieutenant Robert Miller, order of Major General Mead, January 1-February 22, 1814. Reference-Pennsylvania Archives, Sixth Series, Volume 2, Page 95.
