General Notes: Husband - Uriah Kearns


He was educated at the public schools in his native township, and farming was his occupation through life. He owned thirty-three acres of land, a part of the tract purchased by his father.
He took an active part in the interests of the township, holdin many positions of honor, and at one time was burgess of the borough. The family were members of the Presbyterian Church; he was a republican.
