General Notes: Husband - James Bell


He died while a soldier in the War of 1812.

A Mifflin County Orphans Court petition of January 22, 1820 focuses on him. John H. Bell presented the petition which was to establish the heirs of James Bell in order to obtain military bounty land. The heirs were granted land in White County, Indiana.
