General Notes: Husband - James Alexander

---

He came to Penn's Valley, Centre County, Pennsylvania, from Maryland in 1795, and settled as a tenant upon one of the Potter farms, one mile east of the Old Fort, and he and his sons lived there for fifty-five years.

He was a farmer by occupation, but never accumulated any property.
