General Notes: Husband - Jacob Keller


He grew up in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and there learned the trade of a carpenter. In the Civil War he enlisted in Company B, Seventy-seventh Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and served three months but was discharged on account of disability. After his military service he made his home near Alverton, Westmoreland County, to which place he had removed in 1858, and worked there at his trade until his death. He was a Democrat. He and his wife were members of the Church of God.
