General Notes: Husband - Thomas Miller

In 1811 he followed his brother James to America, bringing with him his family, consisting of his wife, Margaret, and their children-two sons, three daughters and one daughter-in-law.
In March, 1812, he bought the tract of land named in its patent "Peace and Plenty." This farm, which became the Miller homestead, was inherited by Thomas Miller, Jr.

He and his wife were natives of Ireland. They emigrated from their native country, and, coming to Washington County, Pennsylvania, settled in Mt. Pleasant township, where they passed the remainder of their lives, he dying in his eighty-seventh year. They were both members of the Seceder Church at Hickory. [CBRWC, 1204]
