General Notes: Husband - John Benner

He was a native of Germany and a shoemaker by trade, who came to Union County, Pennsylvania, and located in Limestone township, a quarter of a mile west of New Berlin. His first purchase of land was small, but he added to it as time went on until he became the owner of more than 300 acres.
