General Notes: Husband - Daniel Oliver Bennett


He was educated in the public schools of his native town, and came to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in 1890, locating in Greensburg. He was of an enterprising and progressive nature, and soon turned his attention to the field of contracting, more particularly that of railroad contracting, in which he became engaged very extensively. The greater part of his time was taken up with contracts for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company.
He was a member of the Catholic church of Greensburg, and was a strong supporter of the Democratic party.
