Gerald C. Berlin
Gerald C. Berlin, 58, of Knox RD 3, formerly of Kane, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 1995, at Warren General Hospital fol­lowing a short illness.
Born Dec. 17, 1936, at Kane RD, he was a son of the late Wayne and Goldie Rossman Berlin.
Mr. Berlin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He had worked for Stack Pole in Kane, retiring in December 1994.
Mr. Berlin was a member of the American Legion Post in Kane. He was a Protestant.
Mr. Berlin was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was married Sept. 25, 1994, to the former Martha Reddinger, who survives.
Also surviving are two daugh­ters, Kim Dexter of Kane and Helen Nesbitt of Palatka, Fla.; one son, Randy Berlin of Brunswick, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Denise Alsop of Emlenton RD; four step­sons, Ray F. Buzzard of Oil City, Paul David Gustafson of Biloxi, Miss., Kenneth Edward Gustafson of Emlenton RD and David Bailey of Palatka, Fla.; seven grandchil­dren and five stepgrandchildren.
He is also survived by three brothers, Paul Berlin and Raymond Berlin, both of Bradford, and Virgil Berlin of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and four sisters, Mrs. Everett (Maxine) Neely of Knox RD 1 and Donna Uhl, Barbara Smith and Bonnie Titus, all of Bradford.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Berlin was preceded in death by a sister, Norma O'Neil; and an infant daughter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the William N. Rupert Mortuary in Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am. Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Jack, pas­tor of the United Methodist Church in Knox, officiating.
Interment will be in Knox Union Cemetery in Knox.
