General Notes: Husband - Thomas Bestwick


Civil War: In August, 1861, he enlisted in Company G, One Hundredth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and re-enlisted in December, 1863, and served until the close of the war. At the battle of Bull Run he was shot in the right shoulder, and was shot through the clothing several other times. A part of the time he was a sharp-shooter.
