General Notes: Husband - George Beswick


The first of the family to come to America, he emigrated from Lancashire, England, in 1848. He settled for a time at Turtle Creek and then bought a farm above Penn Station, which he afterward sold to the Penn Gas Coal Company.

He was killed on the railroad.
