General Notes: Husband - Thomas A. Frazier

He was born in Butler township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and always resided in his native county and in the city of Allegheny. He worked for six years at the mill-ing business, was subsequently engaged, as a contractor, in the plastering busi-ness, and then for some years he devoted his attention to operating in oil and gas, his early fields being at Belmont, Virginia, Jefferson Centre and Coylesville, Butler County, and Port Royal, Westmoreland County. He controlled 12,000 acres of leaseholds, and was quite an extensive operator.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, and politically, he was a stanch Democrat. He filled the office of school direc-tor, and always took a deep interest in public affairs.
