General Notes: Husband - Joseph Pierce

Watertown, Middlesex Co, MA

Freeman in 1690. By petition with Daniel Warren, he gave evidence that he was at Sudbury, April 21, 1676, at the fight with the Indians in which Captain Samuel Wadsworth and Broshlesant were slain, together with fifty others. The petition recites their part in the engagement and concerning the burial of the dead. The petition, original, is in Massachusetts Archives, Boston State House, vol. 68, folio 224.
He appears in company of Watertown men, August 24, 1676, and as receiving for his services. "Bodges History," p. 376.
