General Notes: Husband - Charles Burdette McConnell

He was taken by his parents to Fairfield, Iowa, in 1858 and returned with them to Pittsburgh in 1860. He attended School in Pittsburgh and College in Washington, Pennsylvania. On leaving college he returned to Pittsburgh, where he resided the rest of his life. For a time he was employed by his father and then was in business for himself. His health failing, he retired from this business and later went into the office of the "Presbyterian Banner" and was for sixteen years treasurer of that Publication Company.
He was a member of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church, but on the organization of the Tabernacle Church he united with it and was one of its Elders at the time of his death.
