General Notes: Husband - William Hood


He emigrated from Ireland and came to Venango County, Pennsylvania, between the years 1800 and 1805, where he remained until his decease.

He settled in what is now Sandy creek Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 1798. He moved to Canal Township, and located near French creek, in about 1809. He followed farming as his vocation.
