Kenton, TN

He was in the Confederate army, was wounded at the battle of Shiloh, and discharged from resultant disability. He graduated from Missouri Medical College, class of 1867, and then engaged in the practice of medicine and loved his profession next to his kinfolk. As a recreation, he raised Jersey cattle and fine poultry. He was a member of the C. P. church and a Royal Arch Mason.
