A contractor and driller of Emlenton, PA
Was a member of Co. H., 113th P. Inf'y. Served till close of war. Taken prisoner at Plymouth, NC, and remained at Andersonville and Florence prisons for ten months. Was in the service about four years.

Widel, Eugene E., private, February 22, 1862, three years; captured at Plymouth, N. C., April 20, 1864; mustered out with company June 25, 1865; veteran. [HCC 1887, 263]
