General Notes: Husband - Samuel Blackstone


One of the pioneers of Mercer County, Pennsylvania, he located just north of New Wilmington. Taking up a tract of land that was in its virginal wildness, he cleared and improved a homestead on which he resided until his death. In the meantime, however, he had purchased two hundred acres of land in Lackawannock Township, but had not made any improvements on it. [HMC 1909, 899]
He was married three times.
