General Notes: Husband - William Blair

He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1837, and settled in Venango township, Butler county, on the farm later owned and occupied by his son John. He cleared and improved this property and resided thereon down to his death. He was a member of the Associate Presbyterian church, and in politics, an ardent Democrat.
