General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Armitage

Of Cheltenham, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, he and his wife came from Holefreth, Yorkshire, England, about 1700, and settled on the Old York Road, below Abington, where they died, and both are buried in the old Presbyterian graveyard at Abington Church, where a quaint double tablet originally erected soon after their deaths is a memorial.

The source states he died in 1775, at the age of seventy-five years; and his wife in 1728, at the age of seventy years. This seems unlikely.
