General Notes: Husband - John Creigh

He and his wife transferred their church membership from Temple Patrick church to Carnmoney in 1710. He was ordained a ruling elder in Carnmoney church, May 21, 1718, as the records of the church show. His name is entered regularly as attending meetings of the session until 1731, after which date the session minutes are badly kept, and from 1748 to 1761 no minutes of session are in existence. There is no record of the date of death of either John or Mary Creigh. That they had five children is shown by the baptismal record.
