General Notes: Husband - Joseph Wilson, Jr.


When a lad of twelve years, he drove a wagon in the army during the Revolutionary War. He was subsequently in the War of 1812, bearing the rank of Colonel. He married a woman, who was of English parentage and came from a family of Tories. The marriage displeased his parents and he left with his bride for the west and made settlement in North Beaver Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
