General Notes: Husband - William Gray


He and his wife came from east of the mountains and settled in western Pennsylvania at a very early day. [HAC 1889, 463]

About the time of the Revolutionary War three brothers, of Scotch-Irish descent, came from England to America. They were William and David Gray, and their brother, whose name is no longer of record. William was among the pioneers of western Pennsylvania, and cleared a farm at Brush Creek, near Irwin, Westmoreland County, and died there. [GPHWP, 1209]

About the time of the Revolutionary war three brothers came from England, but who were of Scotch-Irish descent. They were named William Gray, David Gray and another whose name is not known. They settled in western Pennsylvania, in what is now Westmoreland County. [P&HP III, 472]
