General Notes: Husband - John W. Bower


He learned the tinner's trade at the age of sixteen, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and for five years followed it in Noblestown. In the spring of 1880 he came to Homestead, where he then followed his trade successfully, also keeping a hardware-store. He was a member of the R. A., I. O. H., K. of P. and S. O. A. M., and is a democrat.
