General Notes: Husband - Richard Bowen

He was born in Wales. He came with his wife and children to New England, in 1638; lived a short time in Salem and Boston, Mas-sachusetts, but was in Rehoboth, in 1643, where he died; will probated June 4, 1675.

The immigrant ancestor, he came from Kittle Hill, Glamorganshire, Wales, to America about 1638-40, and settled at Rehoboth, Massachusetts. He was a proprietor and town officer in Rehoboth, and was made freeman June 4, 1645.
