General Notes: Husband - J. Hamilton Bowman

Fairmont, WV

He was reared on a farm, was a farmer most of his life. He was in the Civil war, enlisting September 10, 1862, in Company H, Fourth Pennsylvania Cavalry, and served until July 12, 1865, when he was honorably discharged at Lynchburg, VA, and mustered out of the service at Pittsburgh, PA.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, I. O. O. F. and G. A. R. In politics he was a Democrat.
