General Notes: Husband - Peter Bowser


He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and there was brought up and educated. He was one of the pioneer settlers in East Franklin township, Armstrong County, where he cleared and improved a farm of one hundred and sixty acres, on which he resided until his death.
He was a Democrat in politics, and in religious faith a member of the Baptist church. He filled the offices of township supervisor and collector.
