General Notes: Husband - Dr. David Donaldson


He was born in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and coming to Washington County, attended Jefferson College, Canonsburg, graduating in 1845. He began to practice his profession in West Virginia, and then moved to back to Allegheny County. After marriage, he and his wife resided in Allegheny, thence moving to Bridgeville, where he died of heart disease, while in a buggy, on his way to visit a patient.
He was an active Republican in politics; in church matters he and his wife were Presbyterians.

She died of typhoid fever.
