General Notes: Husband - John Cummins Walkinshaw

Millwood Station, Westmoreland Co, PA

He was reared on a farm and educated in the common schools and a select school at New Derry. At twenty-one years of age he engaged in farming, which he followed thereafter, excepting four years (1873 to 1877), which he spent in the office of the Millwood Coal and Coke Company. He owned his father's farm near Millwood. He was a democrat and a member of the Presbyterian church at Derry station.
