General Notes: Husband - Capt. Benoni Williams


He and his wife were born and reared in the Tuscarowa valley of eastern Pennsylvania. In 1721, they located on a farm Brush valley township, Indiana County. Subsequently he purchased of James Wilkens, a part of what was later the Robert McGee farm.

He was captain of a company in the War of 1812. He recruited his company in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and served about one year.
