General Notes: Husband - Henry M. Brackenridge

He received his education partly at the University of Pittsburgh and then visited Europe with his mother and sister, and for three years remained there, where they enjoyed all the advantages afforded by the universities of Dresden, and traveled extensively through Europe during the summer.

He developed the property of the Brackenridge Estate, organizing and building various manufacturing interests in glass, iron and steel. The borough of Brackenridge was named in his honor.
