General Notes: Husband - Patrick O'Donnell

He was born in County Cavan, Ireland, was reared and educated there, but in early youth, determining to secure better advantages for an active career than was to be had in his native land, left Ireland and located in Canada, where he remained until eighteen years of age. At that time he came to the United States, locating in Rochester, New York, where he spent the remainder of his life, which was terminated about the year 1844-45, his death being caused by the kick of a horse while working at his trade of horseshoer. He was also a blacksmith, and these lines of work he followed successfully for many years, deriving therefrom a comfortable livelihood, thus being enabled to provide a good home and education for his children. He was a member of the Roman Catholic church, and a Democrat in politics.

General Notes: Wife - Eliza Brady

She died, aged seventy-nine years. She was a devoted member of the Roman Catholic church, and a consistent and faithful wife and mother.
