General Notes: Husband - William Edgar Brown


He passed his boy­hood days in attending school and also in his father's cabinet shop, where he learned the trade. About 1877 he purchased and located on a farm, following that occupa­tion until 1896, when he disposed of his farming interests and on November 19th opened a meat market in Harrisville, PA. In poli­tics he was an adherent of the Re­publican party and the religious connec­tion of the family was with the United Pres­byterian Church of Harrisville.
