General Notes: Husband - Eli Brant

He and his wife were natives of Wayne Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, where they lived until about 1856, at which time they moved to Cameron, West Virginia, and remained till 1859, then returned to Wayne Township. When the Civil War commenced, he enlisted in behalf of his country's cause, and while in service contracted the disease of diphtheria from which he died.
