General Notes: Husband - Isaac Leet

The Leet family dates their origin in America to 1685, when the grandfather of Isaac Leet left Mansfield, England, and found a home in the New Jersey colony. In 1751 Isaac Leet removed from New Jersey to Virginia, and found his way to Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1779, following his son Daniel, who came in 1770. He located 351 acres of land, under a Virginia certificate, which was surveyed January 6, 1807, and named "Leet's Fancy," containing three hundred and fifty-one acres.

He came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, from Prince William County, Virginia, in 1779, a few years after his son Daniel.

He is buried, as is also his widow, in the burial-place on the farm of S. K. Weirich.
