General Notes: Husband - William Scott, Sr.


He and his wife emigrated from Ireland with their family, consisting of nine children. They sailed on the ship "Dolphin" and landed at New Castle, below Philadelphia, September 6, 1796.

Not long after arriving in America he, with most of his family, settled on the head waters of Mingo creek, Washington County, Pennsylvania, near what was later known as Dunningsville.
