General Notes: Husband - Robert Patterson

A native of Ireland, he settled first east of the mountains in Pennsylvania, and afterward in Mifflin township, Allegheny County, where he followed the weaver's trade, and was also one of the pioneer school teachers.

He emigrated from the north of Ireland to America about 1785, and settled at what became Munhall Station, on a farm. Later he purchased the land later known as the John Turner farm, on Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh; there he continued farming for a livelihood.
