General Notes: Husband - Henry Brosius

He came to America from Germany, with one brother, and made his home in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and there married. He was the founder of the family, all trace of the brother being lost. He died as a farmer in Chester County. He and his wife became members of the Friends church, to which his children, fifteen in number all adhered. [BALC, 357]

He came from England to America and settled near Philadelphia in 1780. [BALC, 16]
