General Notes: Husband - George Alexander Brunermer

After he completed his period of school attendance, he became a driller in the oil fields and in pursuing that occupation, he visited the oil sections in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, then went to Allentown, New York, where he drilled for ten years and for four years was engaged at Little Washington. In 1893 he returned to Connoquenessing Township, Butler County, PA, and secured leases of oil land and worked as driller and driver, but after 1899, when he purchased a farm, he was mainly interested in farming and stockraising. In addition to growing corn, oats, wheat, hay and potatoes, he had an annual bountiful yield of apples. He had two producing oil wells on his own land.
