He attended the township schools, and always remained on the family homestead.
and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church. They were also members of Saunder's Grange, and earnest advocates of Grange principles. Their highest ambition was to assist in the mental, moral and finan-cial advancement of their class. They were also earnest advocates of Republi-can principles.
