General Notes: Husband - James Bunyan

He was from New York City, and had formerly been a sea captain. In 1795 John Morgan married his only daughter Margaret, and as the Morgans removed to Morganza, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, Mr. Bunyan was induced to come also to that section. He purchased two hundred acres of land belonging to Samuel Long and James Philips in the township of Cecil, on Chartiers Creek, opposite Morganza.
